Acts 2 : 42-47 describes the devotion, worship, and faith of the first Christian church of the world. This church was located in Jerusalem. After those comprising this church were baptized and became members of the church, they devoted themselves to the study of scripture, fellowship with one another, and to the Lord. They observed the Lord's supper faithfully and prayed.

We are a church that follows in the tradition of that first church because we join the church through believer's baptism, we devote ourselves to studying God's word, we faithfully observe the Lords supper, we pray, and we enjoy fellowship with our Lord and each other. As a result, we are blessed by the Holy Spirit.
